Booking Conditions:

These Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with Mashabhu Travel & Tours. By

making a booking with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read

them carefully to ensure you understand your rights and obligations.

  1. Booking Process

1.1 How to Book

Bookings can be made via our website, over the phone, or through email at

bookings@mashabhutours.co.za. All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed in

writing.

1.2 Confirmation of Booking

Once we receive your booking request, we will confirm your reservation in writing via email,

including details of your itinerary and the total cost. A binding contract will only exist once we

issue this confirmation.

1.3 Special Requests

If you have any special requests (e.g., dietary requirements, vehicle accessibility, or specific tour

needs), please inform us at the time of booking. While we will do our best to accommodate

these, we cannot guarantee all requests will be met.

  1. Payments

2.1 Deposit and Full Payment

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, unless otherwise agreed.

Full payment must be made at least 14 days before the departure date. If a booking is made

within 14 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

For VIP transfers and special services, full payment may be required in advance.

2.2 Payment Methods

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment methods listed on our

website. Payment details will be provided in your booking confirmation.

2.3 Failure to Pay

If the required payments are not made within the specified time frames, we reserve the right to

cancel your booking. In such cases, any deposit paid may be forfeited.

  1. Cancellations and Amendments

3.1 Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible in writing. The following

cancellation charges apply:

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled service: Full refund.

Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before the scheduled service: 50% of the total booking amount

will be refunded.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled service: No refund will be provided.

3.2 Amendments by You

If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us at least 7 days before your

scheduled service. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but changes are subject

to availability and may incur additional charges.

3.3 Cancellation by Us

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen events, such as

extreme weather conditions or operational disruptions. In such cases, we will offer you the

option of a full refund or an alternative service of comparable value.

3.4 Emergency Booking

  • Emergency booking, we request that you notify us at least 2 hours prior for domestic departures and 5 hours for international departures.
  • All bookings under 15 passengers and within 100km between Point A- B must be cancelled at least 5 hours prior to your pickup time.
  • Bookings for groups over 22 passengers and long-distance transfers (over 120km between point A – B) must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the pickup time
  • Shuttles & Transfers cancelled outside of these hours will be subject to a minimum 50% charge of the transfer fee, while no-shows will be charged at 100%. Should you have an emergency, please communicate this to our reservations desk.

  1. Service Conditions

4.1 Pick-Up and Drop-Off Times

You are responsible for providing accurate pick-up and drop-off details at the time of booking. If

changes are required, please notify us at least 24 hours before the service. We will do our best

to accommodate changes, but additional charges may apply.

4.2 Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must be ready for pick-up at the agreed time and place.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger who poses a risk to the driver or other

passengers.

Passengers are responsible for securing their personal belongings. Mashabhu Travel & Tours is

not liable for any loss or damage to personal items during the journey.

4.3 Vehicle Features

All our vehicles meet South African safety standards and are equipped with features like Wi-Fi,

air conditioning, and onboard communication systems. Should a vehicle with specific features

be unavailable, we will provide an alternative vehicle.

4.4 Travel Insurance

While we include passenger liability insurance, we recommend that passengers arrange their

own travel insurance to cover personal injury, loss of personal items, and any unforeseen

disruptions.

  1. Changes to Itinerary

We make every effort to adhere to confirmed itineraries; however, unforeseen circumstances

may require minor changes to your journey. If this occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible

and ensure that any changes are minimal and do not compromise the quality of the service.

  1. Force Majeure

Mashabhu Travel & Tours cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for any loss,

damage, or cancellation due to events beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to,

acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism, pandemic-related

restrictions, and government regulations.

  1. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Mashabhu Travel & Tours’ Liability

We take every precaution to ensure your safety and comfort. However, we are not liable for any

loss, damage, or injury arising from circumstances beyond our control, including third-party

services such as accommodation or external tour guides.

7.2 Passenger Liability Insurance

We provide passenger liability insurance for all transfers, ensuring that passengers are covered

in the event of an accident. However, this insurance does not cover personal items or injuries

due to negligence.

7.3 Indemnity

By booking with Mashabhu Travel & Tours, you agree to indemnify us against any loss, damage,

or injury caused by your own actions during the course of the service.

  1. Complaints

If you have any concerns or complaints during your journey, please notify our staff immediately

so we can address the issue promptly. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, please

submit a formal complaint in writing within 7 days of the completion of your journey.

  1. Governing Law

These Booking Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from

bookings or services provided by Mashabhu Travel & Tours will be subject to the jurisdiction of

South African courts.
